King Salmon

King Salmon, also known as Chinook Salmon, are the crown jewels of Sitka’s waters, prized for their impressive size and rich, flavorful flesh. Anglers flock to Sitka to pursue the thrill of reeling in these majestic fish

Halibut

If you get tired of catching salmon, why not try fishing for halibut?  They range from 20 pounds to well over 300 pounds.  We catch and release the large “breeder” halibut to help maintain a healthy stock, choosing instead to target the 40-pound to 80-pound classes, which are ideal for eating.

Silver Salmon

Expect lots of action when fishing for silvers (coho) salmon!  Starting in late June the waters around Sitka come alive with large schools of aggressive silvers that provide everyone with lots of action.

Lingcod & Rockfish

Sitka offers an abundance of large lingcod that will weigh in over 50-pounds, along with yellow eye, sea bass and several other varieties of rockfish.  These are an added bonus commonly caught while fishing for salmon and halibut.  They are excellent eating and thrilling to reel in!
